Here are your assignments for today. Click on the underlined links to open each assignment. Remember, Monday is a state holiday, so I will not be posting any assignments. Enjoy the three-day weekend.
Reading:
- Read a good fit book for at least 20 minutes.
- Go on Lexia for 20 minutes.
Writing:
- If you did not do this yesterday: Use the FOCUS BOOK Graphic Organizer you completed yesterday to write a paragraph that responds to the focus question. In your paragraph, try to include a topic sentence, at least three specific supporting details from the text (in your own words), and a concluding sentence. You already wrote the topic sentence and the supporting details on yesterday’s graphic organizer. Your job today is to connect those ideas into a paragraph with transition words and correct spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. You may use this paper for your paragraph: Fundations Writing Paper.
Math:
- Complete the Math Challenge–April 17.
- Play a familiar math game -OR- go on Symphony Math or Prodigy for 20 minutes.
Social Studies and Science:
- Continue working on the My Observation Notebook assignment to track the changes in a plant you found near your house.
- Finish any other science work from the week.
