Dear 2nd Grade Students and Families,

Here are your assignments for today.  Click on the underlined links to open each assignment.

Reading:

1. Respond to questions about The Three Little Pigs.  There are 3 versions of the questions that correspond with the 3 versions of the book I shared yesterday: RazPlus–The Three Little Pigs–M–QUESTIONS or RazPlus–The Three Little Pigs–I–QUESTIONS or RazPlus–The Three Little Pigs–F–QUESTIONS.  Caregivers, if you print the questions, please do not print the page with the answers.  
2. Go on Lexia for 2o minutes.

Writing:

1. Begin to write your own fairy tale.  Use the Fairy Tale Planning Sheet from yesterday to help you get started.  You will continue to work on your story tomorrow and Friday.  Remember to start your story with once upon a time and to end your story with a happily ever after.  Also, keep in mind that, when your characters talk in your story, you should use dialogue tags (quotation marks) to set off what they’re saying.  For example.  Ms. Gray said, “Please remember to use dialogue tags to show your characters speaking in your story.”  Here are two kinds of paper to choose from: Fundations Paper with Drawing Space or Fundations Writing Paper. 

Math:

1. Complete the Math Challenge–April 22.
2. Play Addition Top-It (Addition Top-It Rules).

Social Studies and Science:

1. Take notes on the country you read about on Tuesday using this sheet: Country Research Notes–Pebble Go.
