Happy Friday!  I hope you enjoy a restful weekend.

Here are your assignments for today.  Click on the underlined links to open each assignment.

Reading:

1. Read the fairy tale that you wrote to at least 2 other people.  Listen to and use their feedback to improve your story.
2. Go on Lexia for 20-30 minutes.

Writing:

1. Finish writing your fairy tale.  Then read your story carefully and edit to find and fix errors with spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.  Here are some checklists to use to make sure you’ve done your best work: Revision_Editing Checklists–Fairy Tale.

Math:

1. Complete the Math Challenge–April 24.
2. Do the Place Value Challenge 3-digits.

Social Studies and Science:

1. Finish this assignment from yesterday: Use your notes (Country Research Notes–Pebble Go) to make a poster about the country you researched.  Include the name of the country, the capital, the continent where it’s located, the population, the main languages spoken there, and one or more facts about each of the following: climate, landforms, and history.  Also, include any other fun facts you learned.  If you are able to, find and label a map of your country, pictures of your country, or other things you think would make your poster interesting and informative.  Get creative with the materials you use to make your poster.  Recycled cardboard can make a good poster base.
